Prochenberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ybbsitz in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 83 building areas with 31,227 m² and 58 gardens on 189,725 m² in the cadastral community Prochenberg, in 1989/1990 there were 81 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 112 and in 2009/2010 there were 99 buildings on 143 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 360 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 378 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 319 hectares and 429 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 308 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 426 hectares. The average soil climate of Prochenberg is 20.3 (as of 2010).
