Prosegur is a global security service provider based in Madrid . The company is represented in 24 countries on 5 continents. In Germany, Prosegur operates with three legally independent GmbHs , each with their headquarters in Ratingen near Düsseldorf : Prosegur Cash Services Germany GmbH (market leader in money and valuables transport ), Prosegur SIS Germany GmbH (installer of security technology ) and Prosegur Services GmbH (internal service provider for the German Prosegur sisters).
Prosegur International
Prosegur was founded in 1976 by Herberto Gut in Madrid. Even today, the majority of Prosegur is family-owned. In 1987 the company went public on the Madrid Stock Exchange.

Prosegur in Germany
The company was founded in 2006 as SecurLog and has been trading as Prosegur since April 2012. It currently employs around 4,000 people at 31 locations nationwide.
All Prosegur branches are certified in accordance with DIN 77200 "Requirements for security services". In addition, annual audits are carried out to ensure compliance with the test pillars of the Federal Association of German Money and Value Services (BDGW), of which Prosegur is a full member. The check according to the standard includes cash handling, bookkeeping, account management, EDP, profitability, organizational structures, planning processes, operating resources, personnel qualifications and the transparent presentation of quotation calculations.

history
SecurLog GmbH was founded in May 2006 with the takeover of a large part of the branches and employees of the insolvent Heros Group by the US holding company Matlin Patterson. In September 2006, SecurLog acquired WIS Werttransport GmbH & Co. KG. In July 2007 SecurLog merged with the Kassel-based service provider DBI Wertdienste . On December 30, 2011, SecurLog was taken over by Prosegur.
In February 2013, Prosegur took over the German money and valuables transport business from Brink's , which was gradually integrated into the existing network on December 9, 2013 following approval by the Federal Cartel Office. On February 19, 2014, Chorus Security Service GmbH & Co. KG from Trier was acquired and renamed Prosegur Trier GmbH & Co. KG. With the purchase of Chorus, a license for the cross-border transport of valuables to neighboring Luxembourg was also acquired.
Prosegur Foundation
The Prosegur Foundation is a non-profit organization that bundles Prosegur's social and cultural commitment. She wants to make a contribution to building a fairer society. The organization works in the countries where Prosegur operates. Among other things, it is involved in the areas of education, the integration of disabled people and help for disadvantaged children. For example, 11,000 school children in Asia and Latin America receive school supplies every year and 1,200 people receive talent grants every year.
