The Provinciale Weg 211 (short: N211) is a Dutch country road in the province of Zuid-Holland , which begins in the south of The Hague and from there to Hoek van Holland . From there there is a ferry connection to Harwich ( Great Britain ). The N211 is part of Europastrasse 25 and Europastrasse 30 , one of the most important east-west connections in Europe.
Since the N211 mostly runs outside built-up areas, a maximum speed of 80 km / h is prescribed on the entire route with the exception of the section between Poeldijk and Monster . A maximum speed of 60 km / h applies between Poeldijk and Monster. In the section between the Den Haag-Zuid ( A4 ) exit and Zichtenburg, the N211 is part of the Ring of The Hague.
The N211 is an important link in international traffic between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom .
