The Provincial road N302 (short: N302) is a Dutch highway in the provinces of Noord-Holland , Flevoland and Gelderland , of Hoorn ( A7 ) until after Kootwijk (municipality Barneveld ) ( A1 runs). With a length of 104 km it is the longest provincial route in the Netherlands.
The N203 starts in Hoorn at the exit of the A7. As Westfrisiaweg and Drechterlandseweg it extends further to Enkhuizen where the at Zwaagdijk-Oost N240 (Markerwaardweg) crosses. Past Enkhuizen, continue under the Naviduct Krabbersgat onto the Houtribdijk , which separates the IJsselmeer from the Markermeer .
At the end of the dyke, the road crosses the Houtribbrug , before it becomes a northern bypass from Lelystad towards the A6 . Between exit 11 Lelystad-Noord and exit 10 Lelystad, the Provinciale Weg runs together with the motorway, before continuing in the direction of Harderwijk . Until 2002, the N302 ran through the south of Lelystad on a direct route to exit 10 Lelystad, as the route was not suitable for through traffic. The section near Lelystad-Noord was part of the N307 until 2002 .
The road continues past Lelystad Airport in the direction of Harderwijk. In 2006, the Lelystad and Harderwijk section was expanded from 2 × 1 lanes to 2 × 2 lanes in order to reduce the risk of accidents. At Harderwijk it goes over the Veluwemeer aqueduct , which separates the Veluwemeer and the Wolderwijd (a Veluwerandmeer ).
The N302 ends at exit 18 Kootwijk of the A1.
There are plans to replace the N302 with the N23 and expand it in order to improve the transport links between North Holland and Flevoland. The N23 is to run from the N50 near Kampen to the N242 near Alkmaar .
