The Provinciale away 348 (abbreviated as Autoweg : N348 , partly in Autosnelweg : A348 ) is a Dutch road in the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel , of Arnhem , past Dieren , Zutphen , Deventer and Raalte until after Ommen runs.

Until 1993 the street was called Rijksweg 48, then it was transferred to the area of ​​responsibility of the provinces and renamed to its current name. A 20 km long stretch of Rijksweg 48 still exists between Hoogeveen and Ommen . The route was originally planned as a motorway from Arnhem to Groningen, but only the section between Arnhem and Dieren was realized. A new route was planned for the section between Dieren and Raalte, but these plans were discarded in the late 1980s due to the connection to Groningen with the A50 and A28 .

In Zutphen, the road runs through the city center and through adjacent residential areas towards Eefde. To relieve traffic there, a bypass road has been built since April 2011. A new route is under construction from south to north; it will run under the Deventerweg and the Winterswijk – Deventer railway line, through the De Mars industrial area and over a newly built bridge over the Twente Canal to Eefde.
