Psary (German Hünern ) is a village and Sołectwo in the Gmina Jemielno in the powiat Górowski . It is located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in southwest Poland.
geography
The landscape was shaped by the ice sheet and is a post-glacial , hilly, wooded ground moraine that lies in the catchment area of the Oder River . The village of Psary is located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, about 73 kilometers northwest of Wroclaw . The distance to Góra is 22, to Jemielno four and to Leszno 45 kilometers.
history
The Duchy of Breslau was created in 1248/51 through the division of the Duchy of Silesia and after the Silesian Wars in 1742 it became part of the Province of Prussia . The province of Silesia was first formed here and from 1816 Hünern lay in the district of Guhrau , which became part of the Province of Lower Silesia in 1919 . In 1939 there were 554 inhabitants in Hünern.
In the spring of 1945 Hünern was taken by the Soviet army, joined the Poland after the war and is called Psary . From 1975 to 1998 the village of Psary belonged to the Leszno Voivodeship . The seat of the powiat Górowski is in Góra .
