Cavallino-Treporti is a municipality with 13,538 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Venice in the Veneto region in Italy . It is located on a headland between the Venice lagoon and the Adriatic Sea .

The municipality consists of the fractions Cavallino, Treporti, Ca 'Savio, Ca' Ballarin, Lio Piccolo , Punta Sabbioni, Saccagnana, Ca 'di Valle, Ca' Pasquali, Ca 'Vio and Mesole. On the Adriatic side there is an approx. 12 km long sandy beach with numerous campsites and holiday complexes.

The road bridge over the river Sile is the only land connection to the rest of the mainland and leads to the neighboring municipality of Jesolo .

Punta Sabbioni , a point at the western end of the peninsula is on the water bus system the vaporetto in Venice connected. Line 14 leads to the Lido , from where the ships of Line 1 go through the Grand Canal . Line 12, on the other hand, has a longer route and opens up numerous islands in the lagoon; its end point is on the eastern edge of Venice. By land, local buses run from Punta Sabbioni to Jesolo bus station. Another vaporetto station in the municipality is Treporti , it is located in a remote location at the Marina Fiorita marina .
