Rätan is a place ( Tatort ) in the municipality of Berg in Jämtland County in Sweden . The place is about 40 kilometers south of the capital of the municipality Berg, Svenstavik . At a distance of one kilometer, Rätansbyn forms its own Småort in the area of the European route .
Länsväg 315 runs through the village , about two kilometers to European route 45 and about ten kilometers to Röjan station on the Inland Railway . Rätan lies on the lake Rätansjön , through which the Ljungan flows.
