The Río Turco (also: Collpa Jahuira ) is a river in the Oruro department in the highlands of the South American Andean state Bolivia.

The Río Turco rises 23 kilometers above the town of Turco west of the mountain range of the Serranía de Huayllamarca in the municipality of Turco in the province of Sajama . The river flows in an easterly direction for the first five kilometers, then turns to the southeast and then flows in its further course in southern directions. Notable tributaries in its course are the Río Pumiri and the Río Cosapa coming from the northwest . After a total of 93 kilometers, the Río Turco flows into the Río Lauca in the Municipio Escara in the Litoral Province . The Río Lauca flows further into the drainless salt lake Salar de Coipasa , the second largest salt lake in Bolivia. This is located on the Bolivian Altiplano at an average altitude of 3680 m.
