The Río Yacuma is a left tributary of the Río Mamoré in the Bolivian Moxos Plain in the Beni department .

course

The Yacuma rises at an altitude of 205  m 35 kilometers northeast of the small town of Yucumo , which is on the Ruta 3 highway . It first flows 130 kilometers north in countless meanders and then turns east. After a total of about 500 kilometers, it flows into the Río Mamoré , fifteen kilometers northeast of the city of Santa Ana del Yacuma .

In its course, the Yacuma crosses the Ballivián Province and the Yacuma Province , which owes its name to the river.
