Răzvan Nicolae Gârniță (born December 15, 1987 in Zărneşti ) is a Romanian biathlete .

Răzvan Gârniță started in 1995 at CSS Dinamo Brașov with the biathlon sport . From 2003 to 2008 he started for the CSS Dinamo Râșnov and since 2008 for Dinamo Bucharest . In Râşnov he was trained by Gheorghe Gârniță . His current coaches are Marian Blaj and Gheorghe Stoian.

Gârniță played his first race in the IBU Junior Cup since the 2006/07 season , which at the time was still called the European Cup. The first highlight was the 2007 Junior World Championships in Martell , where the Romanian finished 32nd in the individual, 45th in the sprint, 48th in the pursuit and 17th in the relay. He then started in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships 2007 in Bansko . In Bulgaria, Mosoiu finished 25th in the individual, 31st in the sprint and 33rd in the pursuit. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti and was 119th in an individual and 117th in the sprint. Towards the end of the season he also competed in his first races in the men's IBU Cup. At the Junior World Championships in 2008 in Ruhpolding , he was 59th in the individual and 73rd in the sprint. At the Biathlon European Championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , it was used for the first time in a major event for men. In the individual, he still started in the juniors and was 53. In the sprint, he was 59th in the men and thus just qualified for the pursuit race, in which he was 51st. After that he drew attention to himself , especially in the summer biathlon . At the IBU Summer Cup 2009 Gârniță in Râşnov of roller skis was third behind Imre Tagscherer and Roland Gerbacea in the pursuit. 2010 he was in Predeal in both the Sprint and in pursuers behind Gerbacea and Athanasios Tsakiris weneut third parties.

In 2009 Gârniță began studying sports at the George Barițiu University in Brașov . At a height of 1.81 m, his combat weight is 71 kg.
