Rade Mijatović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Раде Мијатовић ; born June 30, 1981 in Sombor , SR Serbia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin handball player .
Career
society
The 1.92 m tall and 98 kg heavy goalkeeper played for the Serbian clubs Vojvodina Novi Sad and RK Partizan Belgrade . In 2006 he moved to the Spanish league ASOBAL to BM Altea , but returned to RK Red Star Belgrade after one season . After further positions in Spain at CB Cantabria Santander , BM Alcobendas , BM Toledo and BM Antequera , he joined the Belarusian club HC Dinamo Minsk in 2012 , with which he won the championship and the cup. Since 2013 he has been under contract with the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje . In the EHF Champions League 2013/14 he qualified for the quarterfinals. For the 2014/15 season he moved to the Hungarian club Csurgói KK . In the summer of 2015 he moved to the Hungarian club Tatabánya KC . In 2016 he joined the Belarusian club Brest GK Meschkow . Two years later he moved to the Hungarian club Ferencváros Budapest .
National team
Rade Mijatović is in the squad of the Montenegrin national team , for example at the 2014 European Championship , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round. At the 2013 World Cup , he finished in 22nd place. In 2008 he reached 12th place at the European Championships . So far, he has played 42 international matches . (As of February 21, 2014)
