The Radevormwalder plateau is a natural spatial unit with the order number 338.130 in parts of the urban area of ​​the Bergisch and Westphalian cities of Hückeswagen (northeastern part), Radevormwald (almost the entire urban area), Halver (western edge), Ennepetal (west of the Heilenbecke ), Schwelm (southern Part) and Wuppertal (residential quarter Ehrenberg ). It is part of the Wupper-Ennepe plateau (ordinal number 338.13).

The natural spatial unit comprises the plateaus between the Wupper ( eastern Wupperengtal , ordinal number 338.11) and the Ennepe with the transition to the Wuppertal valley (ordinal number 337 1 .3) in the north-west and on the Neuhückeswagen , Eckenhausen , Niederdahlhausen , Hönde , Altendorf and Schwenke line to the Bever-Neye-Kerspe- hinterland (order number 338.131) in the south. The core area of ​​the Wupper-Ennepe plateaus drain almost completely to the Wupper and less to the Ennepe. The Lower Devonian Remscheider , Hohenhöfer , Hobräcker and Mühlenberg strata of the Eifel stage form the soil .
