Radio Erzgebirge (full name: Radio Erzgebirge - The best music! ) Is a private radio station from Annaberg-Buchholz . It started broadcasting on October 21, 2005. Until July 22, 2007, the station called Erzgebirge 107 Point 2.
The main program for Radio Erzgebirge comes from Broadcast Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG, which also stocks Hitradio RTL . The local news and the afternoon program with Mirjam Köfer are produced directly in Annaberg-Buchholz. The repertoire of the station with the claim “The best music!” Mainly includes music from the 1980s to today.
General information
Radio Erzgebirge is a member of the broadcasting network in the Sachsen Funkpaket . The transmitters, which have been specially set up for the major cities and metropolitan areas of Saxony, each broadcast a full 24-hour program, including Radio Erzgebirge. The broadcaster addresses a target audience aged 30 to 49 years. He mainly plays the adult contemporary music format. In addition, there are hourly messages that are always sent 10 minutes before the hour and for this reason are advertised with the claim "Always 10 minutes earlier to the point". history
On October 21, 2005, Erzgebirge 107 Punkt 2 went on air for the first time. Andrè Beuthner moderated the first program.
On July 23, 2007, Erzgebirge 107 Point 2 was given a new name. The frequency in the name is omitted. Since then, the current sender claim has been part of the sender's name. The reason for this is the radio station Radio Erzgebirge 107.7 .
Tino Utassy has been managing director of Radio Erzgebirge since it started broadcasting.
Broadcast house
The program has been produced by Radio Erzgebirge since October 2005 in the Funkhaus on Adam-Ries-Strasse in Annaberg-Buchholz .
In July 2013, Radio Erzgebirge received a new broadcasting studio. This was created in 2008 and was Radio Leipzig's broadcasting studio until July 2012 . The studio manager is René Thierfelder.
