Rai News 24 (until February 24, 2013 Rai News ) is an Italian news channel operated by the public broadcaster RAI . The news channel offers national and international news from politics, business, sport, society and culture around the clock. The station is based in the RAI production center in Saxa Rubra near Rome .

history

Rai News aired at 6:00 a.m. on April 26, 1999. Since November 10, 2006, Rai News has its own channel on YouTube . Through May 3, 2010, Rai 3 broadcast the news from Rai News between 7:00 am and 7:30 am. Since autumn 2011, Rai News has been broadcasting in 16: 9 picture format.

The program focuses on news. A current news program is shown every half hour, followed by the weather forecast. The traffic information from CCISS Viaggiare informati is also sent every half hour . In addition, Rai News shows repeats of the news from the channels Rai 1 (TG1), Rai 2 (TG2) and Rai 3 (TG3). Rai News can also be seen on Rai 3 between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.
