Rainer Fromm

Rainer Fromm (* 1965 in Wiesbaden ) is a German political scientist and television journalist .

Life

Fromm studied political science, sociology and law and was trained in 1997 by Franz Greß at the University of Frankfurt am Main with the dissertation The "Wehrsportgruppe Hoffmann". Presentation, analysis and classification. A contribution to the history of German and European right-wing extremism to the Dr. phil. PhD.

He has worked as a journalist for public and private television (including ARD , Arte and ZDF ) since the 1990s and has published in magazines (including in the official bulletin of the Federal Inspectorate for Media Harmful to Young People ) and as a specialist book author focusing on right-wing extremism , organized crime and youth cultures / Sects . He contributed to the formats sign D , culture time , head-on , Frontal21 , daily news , Spiegel TV , Focus TV , heute-journal , ML Mona Lisa , aspects , exactly , and this fact when, furthermore, he was author of the dossier right-wing extremism in the Central German broadcast and the Federal Agency for Political Education . In June 2018, Fromm's ZDF documentation on the NSU list with 10,000 potential targets prompted the call for more thorough investigations.
