Ran Oz (born May 7, 1977 ) is an Israeli ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Maccabi Metulla Eggenbreggers in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2013 .

Career

Ran Oz began his career at HC Ramat Gan , for whom he played in the debut season of the Israeli ice hockey league at the age of 16 and was named the league's best defender. From 1998 to 2012 he played for HC Metulla , with whom he became Israeli champion in 1999 and 2011 . In 2012 he moved to local competitor Maccabi Metulla Eggenbreggers .

International

In the junior division, Oz played at the U18 C2 European Championship in 1995 when he was voted the tournament's best defender.

For the men's national team , Oz took part in the C World Championships in 1993 , the C2 World Championships in 1994 and 1995 , the D World Championships in 1997 , 1998 , 1999 and 2000 , in Division II at the World Championships in 2001 , 2003 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 and 2015 as well as in Division III at the 2011 World Cup , when the immediate resurgence succeeded.
