Random Hero is a band from Erlangen . Their musical style can be assigned to alternative rock in a broader sense .
history
Random Hero was founded by Uwe Fritzkowsky ( electric bass ), Fabian Strangl ( vocals , guitar ) and Christian Strauss ( drums ). After Christian Strauss left in 2006, Simon Danninger took his place. In 2007 the line-up was supplemented by guitarist Nick Andrade. In this constellation, the band managed to sign a contract with the Saarland label Antstreet Records , on which their debut album Past Is Prologue was released in 2007 . After a tour through Germany and some neighboring countries, Simon Danninger ended his activity in the band. Since then, Jo Pressl from Regensburg has been the drummer for Random Hero.
Albums
After the release of their debut album Past Is Prologue (Antstreet Records / NMD, 2007) the band went on tour through Germany for a year and a half . Her song Bonechillers & Stonecasters achieved particular popularity with the concert audience. The music video for this song is a compilation of tour impressions and concert recordings from Turin , Berlin and Nuremberg.
In 2009 the band went back to the studio, this time with producer Nick Scalise (Ex-October Fall / Fueled by Ramen ) from Chicago . The recordings were mixed by 5Bugs guitarist Flo Nowak and mastered by Kitaro Beeh in the Monoposto-Mastering Studio, Düsseldorf. On June 10, 2011, they released their second studio album, Lip Sync .

On their tour the band played z. B. in the opening act of All Time Low , Kilians , Silbermond , Itchy Poopzkid , 5Bugs , Tribute to Nothing , 3 Feet Smaller , Emil Bulls , Death by Stereo , Strung Out , Adam Lambert and Boys Like Girls .
