Rasim Vardar (born September 2, 1979 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .
Player career
society
Vardar was born in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul and started playing club football here in the youth department of Galatasaray Istanbul . For the second half of the 1999/00 season he was awarded a professional contract and involved in team training for the first team. So he was without a competitive game with his club at the end of the season Turkish champion and Turkish cup winner and was also a Turkish double winner . He was also in the professional squad when Galatasaray won the UEFA Cup in the 1999/00 season . For the 2000/01 season was loaned to Diyarbakırspor and only kept in the squad in the 2001/02 season. After he was not used until the winter break, his club loaned him to Bakırköyspor for the second half of the season .
After Vardar had spent the 2002/03 season as a loan player at Yıldırım Bosnaspor , he was committed in the summer of 2003 by the second division Karşıyaka SK . After he had worked for this club for two and a half years, he moved to Sakaryaspor in the spring of 2006 within the 2nd Turkish league . With this club he finished the season as the play-off winner of the league and rose to the 1st Turkish league. After half a season in this league, Vardar moved to the second half of the 2006/07 season for third division Etimesgut Şekerspor . He played for the capital city for a season and a half and returned to Sakaryaspor in the summer of 2008.
After only half a season, Vardar left Sakaryaspor in spring 2009 and moved to the Istanbul third division club Pendikspor . He played for this club for two and a half seasons and ended his career in the summer of 2011.

Vardar completed two missions for the Turkish U-18 national team during his time at Galatasaray Istanbul .
