Rebecca Holden
Rebecca Holden (born June 12, 1958 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American film actress , television producer , singer and model .
Life
Holden began her career in 1975 at Denton University , where she was trained on the piano . She then moved to New York City to continue her vocal studies. Here, however, she was discovered by a talent scout who hired her as a model for a perfume brand .
Holden then appeared in other commercials and was featured on various front pages of magazines . In 1980 she moved to Hollywood , where she received three television roles in the same year, including an episode of the sitcom Jack of Hearts with Two Women ( Three's Company ). Other guest appearances on television series followed , including Love Boat , Magnum , Remington Steele , Quincy , Mike Hammer and Matt Houston . Her best-known role was that of April Curtis as chief mechanic for the entire second season of the action series Knight Rider .
At the end of the 80s she withdrew from the film business and soon concentrated only on singing. Although she still appeared in a few films as a singer, she preferred to perform live. Their style is singing country songs .
At the same time, Holden is committed to charitable organizations, including the Special Olympics .
Today Holden lives in Los Angeles . She was briefly married to the film actor Bob Vassallo ; however, the marriage ended in divorce. She has no children.
In 2004/2005 she was executive producer on two television shows . At the same time, she continues her singing career.
