Huysmans government
The Huysmans government was in office in Belgium from August 2, 1946 to March 13, 1947. When Justice Minister Van Glabbeke was accused of obstructing proceedings against a company accused of economic collaboration with the German occupation, the Van government turned itself in Acker III behind the Minister of Justice to prevent a vote of no confidence against him. The government lost the following vote of confidence in parliament with 79 votes to 78. The new government of the socialist Camille Huysmans , like its predecessor, included the socialists ( PSB-BSP ), the liberals ( PL-LP ) and the communists ( PCB-KPB ). Huysman's government was broken up over a conflict over coal prices and the government's stance on mining companies that led to the resignation of communist ministers.
