from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The government G. Eyskens III officiated in Belgium on 6 November 1958 to September 3, 1960. In the legislative period from 1954 to 1958 ruled a coalition of Socialists and Liberals . After the general election in 1958 , in which both the Socialists and the Liberals lost seats, Gaston Eyskens formed a Christian Democratic ( PSC / CVP ) minority government. After Christian Democrats and Liberals ( PL / LP ) came to an agreement on school policy, the Liberals joined the government in late 1958. In mid-1960, there was an extensive government reshuffle due to the Congo crisis.
