Regulshausen is a district of the city of Idar-Oberstein in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Geography and transport links

The district is located north of the core town of Idar-Oberstein on the edge of the commercial and school center "Vollmersbachtal". The place can be reached via the K 35 and has one of the largest new development areas in the city. The Abtei riding center is located on the outskirts of Regulshausen. There is a soccer field in the street “Auf der Horst”. The transport company Idar-Oberstein drives the district with the line 307, which connects the place with the industrial area "Vollmersbachtal". The Regulshausen cemetery is located at the “Auf dem Obersten Sand” stop.

history

As part of the Rhineland-Palatinate functional and territorial reform , Regulshausen was incorporated into the city of Idar-Oberstein together with three other communities on June 7, 1969.
