The Reintalangerhütte ( 1366  m above sea level ) is an alpine club hut in the Wetterstein Mountains at the end of the Reintal . The Partnach has its origins nearby . To the west of the hut, the valley floor rises steeply towards the Zugspitzplatt .

The hut belongs to the Munich section of the German Alpine Club and to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen administrative district . It was built in 1912 and is classified in category I. The house has 90 beds and is open from the end of May to mid-October.

  • The highest Wetterstein face , the 1400 meter high Hochwanner north face, offers climbers a number of options.

history

The use of the Reintalangeralm can already be proven for the year 1485. It was often used by Tyrolean subjects from the Leutasch , who drove their cattle there via Ehrwalder Gatterl.
