Remigio Gandásegui y Gorrochátegui (born January 4, 1871 in Galdácano , † May 16, 1937 in Valladolid ) was a Spanish Roman Catholic clergyman and Archbishop of Valladolid .

Life

He received on 27 May 1894, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 27, 1905, he was appointed titular bishop of Dora and at the same time appointed prelate of the Ciudad Real territorial prelature . He was ordained bishop on July 16, 1905, by the Archbishop of Saragossa , Juan Soldevilla y Romero ; Co- consecrators were José López Mendoza y García OESA , Bishop of Pamplona , and Antolín López y Peláez , Bishop of Jaca . He became Bishop of Segovia on May 28, 1914 and was made Archbishop of Valladolid on April 22, 1920.
