The Renault Pars is since 16th Esfand 1382 ( Gregorian calendar : 16 March 2004 ) of existing automotive manufacturer with headquarters in Tehran , Iran .

The company was created as a joint venture between the two largest Iranian automobile manufacturers Societe Anonyme Iranienne de Production des Automobiles and Iran Khodro, and for the first time is the first official subsidiary of the Renault concern in Iran. Renault takes a 51 percent stake in Renault Pars. The remaining 49 percent, on the other hand, is taken over by the Iranian Industrial Development & Renovation Organization . But the Automotive Industry Development Company is also one of the company's important partners in Iran. The vehicles are sold through the SAIPA dealer networks and Iran Khodro.

For the notchback sedan Renault Logan Tondar 90 as well as its station wagon variant Renault Logan Tondar 90 Van , Renault Pars also distributes the Renault Koleos and Renault Latitude on its website , both of which are manufactured by Iran Khodro. A special feature is the Koleos, which, according to the manufacturer, is 534 millimeters shorter but 170 millimeters wider than the model produced by Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea . The full TR25 16V gasoline engines used comply with the Euro IV emissions standard and have a specified output of 75 kilowatts. The Latitude is available in Iran with a 174 kilowatt V6 engine with a displacement of 3498 cc. This also corresponds to the Euro IV emissions standard.

Parallel to the assembly of the Renault L90 at the time, the new company began assembling the second-generation Renault Mégane at partner company Pars Khodro . Depending on the selected engine, the Mégane is available in the model variants 1600 BVM with 1598 cm³ displacement and an output of 82 kilowatts or as a 2000 BVA with a displacement of 2000 cm³ and an output of 98.5 kilowatts. Both gasoline engines comply with the Euro III emissions standard.

Another model that is built in Iran is the small car called Renault New PK , which is based on the Renault 5 . In contrast, production of the Renault 21 , which was the first Renault model built by Iran Khodro, has already been discontinued .

The parts used initially all came from the Romanian production of SC Automobile Dacia SA. It was only since 2006 that around fifty percent of the required components have been manufactured in Iran. With the introduction of the Logan Tondar 90, the Renault brand was able to gain around 33 percent market share within the first three years. The production is 300,000 units per year. The Tondar 90 is available as a four-door notchback sedan in the versions STD , DLX and SLX . All three variants are 4250 millimeters long and 1975 millimeters wide. You have a four-cylinder K4M 690 gasoline engine . This has a displacement of 1598 cm³ and an output of 76 kilowatts. The engine complies with the Euro III emissions standard . . The visual differences between the individual model variants can be seen more clearly. The radiator grille , exterior mirrors as well as the front and rear bumpers of the STD are made of black plastic. With the DLX, on the other hand, the lower part of the bumpers is painted in the same color as the car. 	since 2008: Renault Logan Tondar 90 Van	The Renault Logan Tondar 90 Van has been built since late 2008 and optically corresponds to the European Dacia Logan MCV from the model years 2006 to 2009, but has the same external dimensions and the same engine with 76 kW as the Iranian notchback sedan. The van is only available in one version, however, which differs slightly from the notchback sedan. Internally at Renault, the station wagon is also known as the R90 .
