European Luge Championships 1978

The 1978 European Luge Championships took place from February 11 to 12 in Hammarstrand , Sweden , and were attended by athletes from thirteen countries. Hammarstrand was the venue for this competition for the third time after 1970 and 1976 . Elisabeth Demleitner was able to successfully defend her title from the previous year.
