European Luge Championships 1972
The 1972 European Luge Championships took place from January 16 to 17 on the artificial ice rink at Königssee in the Federal Republic of Germany , in which athletes from ten countries took part. Königssee was the venue for this competition for the second time after 1967 . The tobogganists of the GDR won all three competitions, making them the most successful nation in these championships.
