Wolfram Fiedler (born September 29, 1951 in Ilmenau ; † April 11, 1988 in Berlin ) was a luge athlete from the German Democratic Republic .

Wolfram Fiedler started his sporting career during his school days at BSG Empor Ilmenau, of which he was a member until 1965. To promote his talent, he came to the children's and youth sports school in Oberwiesenthal in 1965 , where he joined the SC Traktor Oberwiesenthal . The first major sporting success was winning the bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in Königssee in 1968, followed by the title of Junior European Champion in 1969. In 1972 he was both European champion in singles and third in both singles and doubles at the Winter Olympics . The highlight of his career was the success at the World Championships in 1975. In the same year he was also runner-up in Europe. Although he won the European Championships in 1976, he ended his career that same year. He then worked as a coach, mainly in youth sports. Fiedler died of cancer in 1988 . Today the Ilmenau racing sledge track bears his name.

In 1972 Wolfram Fiedler was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze for his achievements . At the end of his sports career in 1976, he received this award again.
