Uwe Handrich
Uwe Handrich (born April 26, 1959 in Elgersburg ) is a former German luge rider who competed for the GDR .
He started his career for ASK Vorwärts Oberhof. His greatest success in tobogganing was, in addition to the Junior European Championship in 1978, winning the European Luge Championship in single-seater in 1982 in Winterberg . When he was unable to qualify for the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo due to a fall in early 1984, he ended his career.
