Resaid was a German song - Duo , the cover versions of hits of the 1990s and 2000s reinterpreted acoustically.

Band history

The band members Leonore Bartsch and Tamara "Tamy" Ruprecht and later Alyssa Drichel and Charlotte Klauser were approached independently by the producers and the record company, whether they would like the project, and only then got to know each other.

Similar to the French cover project Nouvelle Vague , the decision was made to use young female singers so that they could approach the classics and interpret the songs in a completely new way.

At the beginning of May 2014 Resaid, in the cast of Leonore Bartsch and Tamara Ruprecht, was presented to the public by releasing the music video for Toca's Miracle, a cover version of Fragma , shot in Verona . The album Acoustic Adventures followed on August 1, 2014. On December 12, 2014 a remix version of Freed from Desire was released as a download single. In France, Andorra and Monaco the single Freed from Desire was released under the band name Tamy & Leo .

In 2016 the project was continued with the new singers Alyssa Drichel and Charlotte Klauser , who this time cover hits from boy and girl bands of the 90s on their album boys & girls . The single Push the Button , a cover version of the Sugababes , was released on April 1, 2016 as a preliminary single .

Leo Bartsch was part of the Resaid cast in 2014

Leonore Bartsch (born September 14, 1988) sang with the pop group Queensberry from 2008 to 2012 . Together with Dennis Krüger from 4Lyn , Bartsch founded her first acoustic project Léo Noire in 2012 , which appeared with cover versions of songs by Rihanna and Kings of Leon , among others .

Tamara Ruprecht (born September 22, 1991) won the Regional Next Superstar talent competition in 2009. Through her videos on the MyVideo portal , she was asked to do demo recordings in the studio in 2010, but it was not until the winter of 2012 that she received an offer from the record company for the joint acoustic album, which contains cover versions of dance hits from the 1990s and 2000s.

Charlotte Klauser was a member of Resaid in 2016.

Alyssa Drichel (born July 16, 1993) won the regional singing competition "Hildesheim sucht den Superstar" in 2009 and gained her first experience in the studio. She has been on the road since 2014 with her solo project "Alyssa" (German pop music). The band was founded in Hanover. In winter 2015 she received the offer from the record company for Resaid's second acoustic album.

Charlotte Klauser (born July 16, 1990) won 1st place in the Jugend musiziert competition in 1999 in the violin category. With her sister, she founded the band The Black Sheep in 2002 , with which she won the silver Bravo Otto as Germany's best school band in 2006. In 2014 she participated in the TV show Keep Your Light Shining . She has been working for Peter Maffay as a background singer since 2013 .
