The mission of the Mission de l'Organisation des Nations Unies en République Démocratique du Congo (MONUC) was extended by one year to June 30, 2012, beyond the 2011 election in the Democratic Republic of the Congo .

She also calls on all relevant people to “ ensure an environment for a free, fair, credible, inclusive, transparent, peaceful and timely electoral process ”. More precisely, this means enabling “ free political debate, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, equal access to the media and security ”.
