Laibach
The Laibach rises from several sources about 1.8 km northeast of Halle (Westphalia) on the southwest flank of the Teutoburg Forest at an altitude of 173.5 m above sea level. NHN . Flowing in a south-westerly direction, the stream reaches the northern outskirts of Halle after about 1.8 km. It flows through the location in the northwest and leaves it again at the Gerry Weber station. After crossing under the state road 782, water is knocked off to the Ruthebach in an artificial bifurcation at river kilometer 19.9 . After flowing through two ponds, the run turns to the south for a stretch of about 2 km. At 17.8 km the stream splits into several watercourses. The northern watercourse flows in a south-westerly direction into the castle pond of Schloss Tatenhausen and passes the natural monument Torfkuhle . The southern watercourse initially flows further south, then bends to the west. The brook flows around a larger pond. A little later the stream also flows into the castle pond.
After draining from the castle pond, the Laibach runs past the western outskirts of Bokel and then turns back to south-westerly directions. At km 12.2 the Kleine Bach flows out on the left . From the mouth of the Künsebecker Bach , the Bach is called the Rhedaer Bach .
Rhedaer Bach
About 400 m below the mouth of the Künsebecker Bach, the brook is dammed up to form a mill pond. The Ellerbrockgraben opens out below the Mühlbach on the left. Flowing from Kölkebeck initially in more westerly directions, the stream turns more southerly in the further course. In addition to several unnamed watercourses, the rocker flows into the Rhedaer Bach from the left to the west of Harsewinkel . The Rhedaer Bach flows south-west of Harsewinkel at 56 m above sea level. NHN on the right into the Ems. With a height difference of 117 m from the source to the mouth, the mean bed slope is 5 ‰.
The Rhedaer Bach drains a 57.1 km² catchment area over the Ems to the North Sea .
