Ricardo Manuel Ferreira Sousa , better known as Cadú (born December 21, 1981 in Paços de Ferreira ) is a Portuguese football player . The defender has been playing in the Segunda Liga at Leixões SC since summer 2016 .

Career

Cadú began his professional career at Gondomar SC in 2001 and moved to FC Paços de Ferreira after just one season . In 2004 he was signed by Boavista Porto and after two seasons moved to CFR Cluj for € 750,000 , where he is now captain. In the summer of 2014 he left Cluj after eight years and joined the Cypriot club AEL Limassol . After only six months he returned to Gil Vicente FC in his home country. After relegation in 2015 , he remained loyal to the club one league lower. In the summer of 2016 he left the club to join league rivals Leixões SC .
