Richard Currier
Richard C. Currier , also Dick Currier , (born August 26, 1892 in Denver , Colorado , USA ; † December 14, 1984 in El Toro , California , USA ) was an American film editor .
Life
Currier began his career as a film editor in the early 1920s and was primarily involved in short films until the 1930s. He worked with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy on numerous films. During this time he worked for the producer Hal Roach . At the end of the 1920s he directed a few films himself. From 1951 onwards, he worked increasingly for television. His last production dates from 1959. In total, he participated in more than 300 productions.
