Richard Maynau
Richard Maynau (actually Richard Sulzenauer Maynau ; * 1965 in Vienna ) is an actor, director and singer.
Life
Maynau received an acting training from Edith Nordegg in 1985 , which was completed in 1989 with a diploma examination at the joint examination committee.
He is an actor in the musical theater, children's theater and acting branches. In addition to many roles in Nestroy plays and comedies from Shakespeare to Feydeau, he has also played dramas from Arthur Miller to Theodor Csokor. He made numerous tours and guest appearances in Germany, also played in various regional theaters and on many stages in Vienna, e.g. B. in the Scala Theater , in the Theater der Jugend , or in the Wiener Kammerspiele . Most recently he was seen at the Akademietheater in Vienna.
In his own basement theater in Vienna (Theater im Spectrum) he has shown not only conventional performances but also experimental theater and children's theater is also one of his preferences.
In addition to assisting the artistic director of the Kissinger Theatertage and the Röttingen Festival, he was also seen there as an actor. The KulturforumM, EPA and the SalontheaterWien are other creative areas.
Another area of his activity includes the corporate theater business theater Vienna and numerous moderation and speaking activities in the artistic and commercial field.
Since 2002 he has appeared repeatedly on German and Austrian stages with Wienerlied and musical programs.
Founding of the Residenztheater in the Stockerau Residence in March 2008. In August 2009, he founded the new Lenautheater together with the municipality of Stockerau .
As a supplement to the Lenautheater, he founded the theater department in the Stockerau music school in 2010. He is a member of the Prague State Opera, where he has been engaged since 2015.
Since August 2018 he has been running the Bruckmühle cultural center in Pregarten / Upper Austria. He is also the artistic director of the Aist Festival.
