Rigoberto Corredor Bermúdez (born August 5, 1948 in Pereira , Colombia ) is Bishop of Pereira .

Life

Rigoberto Corredor Bermúdez was ordained a priest on November 18, 1973 . John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Rusguniae and auxiliary bishop in Pereira on February 26, 1988 .

He received his episcopal ordination on March 26th of the same year by the Bishop of Pereira, Darío Castrillón Hoyos ; Co- consecrators were José de Jesús Pimiento Rodriguez , Archbishop of Manizales , and Alberto Giraldo Jaramillo PSS , Bishop of Cúcuta .

On November 30, 1996, the Pope appointed him Bishop of Buenaventura . On December 19, 2003, he was appointed Bishop of Garzón . Benedict XVI. appointed him Bishop of Pereira on July 15, 2011.
