The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pereira ( lat. : Dioecesis Pereirana , span. : Diócesis de Pereira ) is an in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Pereira .

history

The diocese of Pereira was on December 17, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. Erected from cessions of territory by the Diocese of Manizales and the Apostolic Prefecture Chocó . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Manizales as a suffragan .
