The vehicle was a small passenger car with a four-cylinder engine that Riley put next to the big 17 in 1915 .
The car had a four-cylinder block engine with a displacement of 1096 cm³, side-mounted valves and water cooling. The chassis had a wheelbase of 2438 mm.
This model was already phased out in 1916. It wasn't until 10 years later that the Riley 9 appeared in this size class .
