The Ringelmühlbach is an eight kilometer long stream in the district of Amberg-Sulzbach in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria , which flows from the right into the Vils after an east-northeast run in the area of Markt Freihung .

course

The Ringelmühlbach begins its first north-easterly course in the village of Massenricht in the town of Hirschau on the eastern edge of the closed development with an elongated arch that extends only moderately to the right, on which it runs east-north-east as a whole. Soon he changes on the edge of the cleared island around the village to a larger piece of forest in the neighboring municipality of Markt Freihung , where he passes some ponds and breaks away from the forest near the edge of the village. At the eastern end of Freihung, he crosses state road 2166 to Thansüß and the Neukirchen – Weiden railway line, leaving the village almost on the left. From the Schwadermühle he goes west and separates a small part of the settlement and the adjoining industrial area in the north from the main part of the village, where he changes at the road bridge of the B 299 to the other side of the railway line and the road. Immediately afterwards he dines at about 407  m above sea level. NHN a chain of ponds surrounded by forests in the lower area, the last of which, the Great Hackelweiher, is the largest with over 7 hectares. After a short stretch in the forest in a south-westerly direction, it joins the Vils from the right .
