River Gee County is an administrative region ( county ) in Liberia , it has a size of 5 113 km² and had 66,789 inhabitants at the last census (2008).
The administrative region is divided into 10 districts. The capital is Fish Town in the Potupo District.

The county is located in southeast Liberia and borders the Republic of Ivory Coast . The region was formed from part of Grand Gedeh in 2000 .
The majority of the population lives from agriculture. The main produce in River Gee is rice, followed by cassava and bananas.
politics
In the 2005 first Democratic Senate election after the Civil War, Frederick Doe Cherue was elected by COTOL . As part of a required by-election in 2009, J. Nathaniel Williams was also elected second Senator by the LDP .
