Rob Daiker

Rob Daiker (born August 7, 1969 ) is an American musician and record producer . He is a member of the band Dan Reed Network , for which he plays keyboards . Daiker is the owner of The Commune recording studio in Portland, Oregon .

Rob Daiker began to write his first songs at the age of sixteen, in which he played all the instruments himself. Musicians like Prince , Sly and the Family Stone or Scritti Politti served as inspiration . After finishing school, he joined a band and performed with them on the US west coast for the next four years.

In 1995 Daiker released his first album called Extract, on the recordings of which Dan Reed participated. Reed sang one of the tracks and produced another. Daiker then founded the band Generator together with Daniel Pred and Blake Sakamoto , whose debut album he also produced and which was self-distributed. After the group was renamed Slowrush, she took on more titles, which appeared in 2000 along with some songs from the debut album under the title Volume on Epic Records .

In the following years Rob Daiker took care of the activity as a producer for other artists and worked for Katy Perry , Meredith Brooks , Christian Burghardt, The Fame Riot and Haley Johnsen , among others .

In 2015 Daiker became a member of the group Dan Reed Network, which has been active again since 2013, where he replaced their keyboardist, Blake Sakamoto. With the band he recorded the album Fight Another Day , which was released on June 3, 2016. Daiker also started writing material for his own album in 2015, which was released in December 2016 under the title Binary Affairs .
