Breathless is the first music album by the American rock band Dan Reed Network .
Emergence
In 1985 Dan Reed Network recorded the track Eye on You and released it as a single with B-side Come Alive . This single was exclusively in Portland , the hometown of the group and are available on the label appeared Tandees Records. The group had produced the recording of the song in its founding line-up with Jeff Siri on keyboards. The single was a little later part of the compilation Pride Of Portland , which was supposed to bring in donations for the hungry in Africa in the style of USA for Africa , but only presented local artists from the Portland region and was also only sold there.
In 1986 there was a change of line-up; the keyboards were now played by Rick DiGiallonardo. With this line-up, Breathless was created , which also included Eye on You . The song had been re-recorded with DiGiallonardo. The title Breathless was featured twice and was offered as an extended mix in addition to the original version . All the songs on the EP were written by Dan Reed, the only exception being the song Steal Me , which Rick DiGiallonardo had written with Reed. The song became the number 1 single on the local Portland music network Z-100 . The production of the EP took Marlon McClain.
Breathless was only released in the US.
