Robert A. Ferretti

Robert Anthony Ferretti (born February 24, 1948 ) is an American film editor .

Life

After studying at Columbia College Hollywood , Ferretti was able to edit his first independent film in 1982 with the comedy The Type with the Insane Look . After mainly editing B-movie action films in the mid- 1980s , Lock Up was the first time he had the chance to edit a larger film with actor Sylvester Stallone . Films like Tango and Cash , Rocky V and Die Hard 2 followed , before he cut a film for Steven Seagal for the first time with Deadly Revenge - The Brooklyn Massacre . Since then, he has had a long-term collaboration with him in particular, which also led Ferretti to edit Seagal's only directorial work with On Burning Ice .

Robert A. Ferretti is a member of the American Cinema Editors .
