Robert Henriques (chemist)
Robert Henriques (born September 19, 1857 in Hamburg , † June 17, 1902 in Bayreuth ) was a German chemist .
Henriques studied chemistry in Heidelberg , Berlin and Strasbourg , where he received his doctorate in 1881 .
In 1890 he set up his own “trade laboratory” in Berlin. He researched and published in the field of fats , waxes and rubber goods as well as aromatic compounds.
From 1894 to 1900 he edited the magazine Chemische Revue on the fat and resin industry. Technical and scientific central body for the industries of fats, oils and mineral oils, soap, wax, candle and lacquer manufacture as well as resins , Hamburg / Leipzig 1894–1915.
