Robert "Bob" Short (born before 1975) is a makeup artist and special effects artist .

Life

Short began his career in 1975 initially as an actor in the television film Holmes and Walston . In the following year he worked as a cloakroom for the first time on the film staff at the thriller Hollywood Boulevard . Short has worked as a special effects artist on numerous large Hollywood productions , including Steven Spielberg's science fiction film E.T. - The extraterrestrial responsible for effects on the eponymous extraterrestrial, and in Splash - A maiden on the hook creator of the mermaid costume . In 1989 , Tim Burton's horror comedy Beetlejuice, along with Ve Neill and Steve LaPorte, won him an Oscar for Best Make-up and Best Hairstyles .
