Robert Weimar

Robert Weimar (born May 13, 1932 in Cologne ; † February 28, 2013 ) was a German legal scholar and psychologist .

Life

Robert Weimar studied law at the universities of Cologne , Bonn , Heidelberg , Innsbruck , Bern and Basel , administrative sciences at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer (DHV) and psychology at the universities of Heidelberg and Basel. He passed the first state examination in law in 1956 at the Cologne Higher Regional Court and the second state examination in 1960 at the State Judicial Examination Office in Düsseldorf. He passed the licentiate examination ( lic.iur.utr. ) At the University of Basel and obtained his doctorate iuris utriusque under Karl Spiro in Basel in 1965 . In 1967, Hans Kunz received his doctorate as philosophiae doctor et artium liberalium magister at the University of Basel. Under Martin Hautzinger (Tübingen), Weimar acquired the state authorization to practice psychotherapy (Mainz 1995): Weimar graduated with an LL.M. (University of Heidelberg) with Erik Jayme and the LL.M. (University of Basel) with Ernst August Kramer (2001): Weimar's Heidelberg doctorate in psychology with Joachim Funke (2006) and the doctorate to Dr. rer. publ. at DHV Speyer with Waldemar Schreckenberger (2009).

Weimar was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe as a judge for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1964 to 1968 , after he had been appointed judge at the Cologne Regional Court in 1961 . In 1968 he was appointed judge at the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court and from 1970 to 1972 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court . From 1974 until his retirement in 1994 Robert Weimar worked as a professor for civil law , commercial and business law at the University of Siegen . He refused calls to Münster and Dortmund. For many years he was an examiner in the trainee exam at the Judicial Examination Office of the Düsseldorf Higher Regional Court . From 1994 to 2006, Weimar was a German lawyer and partner in an internationally oriented law firm in the Consulegis (Zurich) network. Weimar, who held various visiting professorships, also taught at the universities of Cologne , Karlsruhe , Düsseldorf , Lüneburg , Heidelberg , Krems and Vienna . Most recently he researched and taught at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

Robert Weimar was an honorary doctor of the Moscow State Pedagogical University (MPGU) . He presented more than 400 publications on civil law, commercial, corporate and economic law as well as on legal theory , neuro- jurisprudence and psychology. Weimar was editor of the series of publications on Economic Law and Economic Constitution of the Institute for Economic Law and Economic Legislation Siegen, editor of the publications on neurojurisprudence, co-editor of the Travaux scientifiques de la Faculté Européenne des Sciences du Foncier Strasbourg, co-founder of theory and practice - contributions to the entire land law, co-editor of the articles on general legal and political theory, co-founder of the Salzburg writings on legal, political and social philosophy, co-editor of the writings on legal psychology (SRP) and co-editor of the writings on humanity and happiness research . Weimar was a co-founder (1991) and former board member (1991–2008) of the European Institute for Forensic Psychology in Zurich. Since 2003 he has worked as research coordinator at the Robert Weimar Institute (RWI) Bonn - Research Institute for Neuro-Jurisprudence. From 2010 he was President of the International Academy of Coaching Sciences (IACW), Zurich and President of the International Forum of Consulting Studies (IFBW), Zurich.
