Robert de Boissonneaux de Chevigny
Robert Marie Jean Victor de Boissonneaux de Chevigny CSSp (born August 2, 1920 in Besançon ; † June 11, 2011 ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Nouakchott .
Life
Robert Marie Jean Victor de Boissonneaux de Chevigny joined the religious community of Spiritans and was ordained a priest on October 3, 1948 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Nouakchott on December 21, 1973 . The Archbishop of Dakar , Hyacinthe Thiandoum , consecrated him on February 23, 1974 as bishop; Co - consecrators were Michel-Jules-Joseph-Marie Bernard CSSp, Old Archbishop of Nouakchott, and Armand François M. Le Bourgeois CIM , Bishop of Autun-Châlon-sur-Saône-Mâcon-Cluny .
On July 10, 1995, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
