Robin Meisner

Robin Meisner (* 1993 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Robin Meisner grew up with German and Czech as mother tongues; his parents are both from Prague . As a child and as a teenager he was already on stage in various theater productions. a. in the youth club of the Maxim Gorki Theater and at the Schaubühne Berlin , in directorial work by Thomas Ostermeier and Falk Richter . After graduating from high school (2012), he first studied Slavic Studies and History at Berlin's Humboldt University .

In 2014 he began his acting studies at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig , which he completed in spring 2018. Since the 2016/17 season he has been a permanent member of the drama studio at the Schauspiel Köln . So far he has played there a. a. in Hamlet (directed by Stefan Bachmann ; as courtier Osric and as a member of the actors' troupe) and in the world premiere of Somebody Like Me (text: Charlotte Roos ) directed by Bruno Cathomas .

Meisner is also active in film and television. Here, too, he stood in front of the television camera as a child and adolescent. a. in the children's series Löwenzahn and Siebenstein . As an adult, he first played in short films; from 2013 onwards he made regular television appearances.

In December 2013 he was seen in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante in a leading role in the episode; He played the drunk youngster Henner Paulsen, who injured a policewoman, and accused little of a police officer of having beaten him up. In November 2015 he was also seen in a leading role in the ZDF series SOKO Wismar ; he embodied Jonas Petermann, the grandson of a murdered captain's widow.

In the ARD crime series Wolfsland (2016) he played the suspect Stipe at the side of Götz Schubert and Yvonne Catterfeld . In the ZDF television series Lena Lorenz , he had a supporting role in the episode Borrowed Luck, which first aired in March 2017 ; he played Marek Cerny, the Czech friend of a heavily pregnant surrogate mother .

Meisner is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS). He lives in Berlin and Cologne .
