Rochus Hahn

Rochus Hahn (born April 16, 1960 ; also known under the pseudonyms Horst Brack and Robi ) is a German comic book and screenwriter .

Life

During his school days Hahn founded the artist group Comic-Labor together with Michael Hau and Michael Möller in 1978 , from which the alternative magazine Menschenblut , published between 1982 and 2001, was to emerge.

After graduating from high school , Hahn attended the University for Television and Film in Munich . During this time he made his student films Bloody Snow and Swords Against the Unicorn . As a writer for the series Sketchup , he earned money to finance another film, Aufbruch der Blutcrew , in which he also took on the leading roles with the human blood co-founders Hau and Möller. Finally, the film Brass Knuckles 84 followed , with which Hahn completed his studies.

Hahn then continued to write comic scenarios and scripts for Der Formel Eins Film , Cheese with Hape Kerkeling and other television series. In addition, Hahn under the pen name was Horst Brack, the Punisher in the late 1980s as a presenter of RTL telecast Catch Up to see presented in the wrestling bouts. According to his own statement, commercial success did not materialize for him until 1997 with the television film The Chaos Queen with Veronica Ferres .

In addition, since 1999 he has been the editor of their own comic book publisher Schwarzer Turm together with Michael Möller . Licensed editions such as Stray Bullets appear here , but also German independent productions such as Horst and Arsinoe by Jürgen Speh or Alraune by Toni Greis , all three of which are lyrically supervised by Hahn.

In his main job as a screenwriter, Hahn works in series, for example for the production in motion , as well as in the cinema. His best-known work is the script for Sönke Wortmann's successful film The Miracle of Bern about the 1954 World Cup.

Hahn lives with his family in Frankfurt am Main .
